We need this because we archive all of our submissions and refer to them should conflicting information arise. We will defer to users with a strong track record of providing accurate and reliable information.

Accounts require activation to be used. This is so that accounts are not created for individuals who do not want them. If an account is not activated within seven (7) days of creation, the account will be purged, and the email address will be free to be registered again.
If you wish to keep your account active, you must log in to it once every 365 days. Users who do not log in to their account within the 365-day window will have their data purged from the system.
A purge will result in the loss of all Favorites (Stations, Markets and Themes). Additionally, all ratings of news themes will be deleted, and news theme ratings averages will be recalculated.
Registering multiple accounts is grounds for account deletion.
Only register one account per individual. If you lose your email address, that account will be deleted once it is deemed inactive.
Submitting inaccurate or purposefully false information is grounds for account termination.
When using the "News Opens from the Web" submission utility, you are responsible for ensuring that the audio from the news open is not already online. Failure to do this research puts a strain on those maintaining the site and will result in a temporary suspension of five (5) days and one "Strike." After receiving three (3) "Strikes," you will be prohibited from using all submission tools.
