"I Can See Clearly Now" by Johnny Nash was released in 1972 and reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart as well as the US Billboard Hot 100 Adult Contemporary chart, remaining number one for four weeks.
One of the most covered songs ever, Jamaican reggae singer Jimmy Cliff recorded a version of the song for the movie Cool Runnings in 1993.
Originally part of a single on the album of the same name, the B Side of the record featured the song "How Good It Is."
